What am I investing in?

Elevatyr portfolios are composed of varying numbers of some of the world’s most popular cryptocurrencies. Elevatyr’s first portfolio, the Core 12, is comprised of 12 diverse crypto tokens, largely from the world’s 50 most valuable cryptocurrencies. Elevatyr’s other portfolios are composed of other crypto tokens beyond the top 50 most valuable.

Can I change my chosen portfolio?

You may change your selected portfolio at any time from within the Elevatyr app > Menu > Change Portfolio. You may also select your desired portfolio each time you make a purchase or withdrawal, without changing your default selected portfolio.

What portfolios are available?

Elevatyr currently offers four portfolios.

  1. The Core 12 is comprised of 12 diverse crypto tokens that span a range of types and values.
  2. The Atrium Portfolio is composed of 12 of the most valuable cryptocurrencies available for trading today.

How much does it cost to use Elevatyr?

All Elevatyr customers pay a $1 per month subscription fee for their account, deducted directly from their account’s holdings. Customers also pay a transaction fee of up to 3% on each purchase or sale, which allows Elevatyr to manage all transactions through the global exchange network.

How do I make purchases within my Elevatyr account?

You may make cryptocurrency purchases from within your Elevatyr account, using our quick and easy 3-touch system right on the Elevatyr home screen. Simply select the dollar amount of cryptocurrencies you would like to purchase, and our system handles the rest. The funds for the purchase are withdrawn from your connected funding source, and used to purchase the cryptocurrencies in your portfolio, which are then reflected in your account after your bank processes the transaction, usually within 5-7 business days.

How do I sell my cryptocurrencies within my Elevatyr account?

Like purchases, you may also make cryptocurrency sales from within your Elevatyr account. Simply open the Withdrawal screen from the menu and enter the dollar amount of cryptocurrencies you would like to sell. Once your cryptocurrencies are sold, your funds are deposited back in your connected funding source, usually within 5-7 business days.

Why do transactions take 5 or more business days to complete?

Elevatyr transfers your funds to and from your funding source account through a system called the Automated Clearing House, or ACH for short. It often takes banks and other financial institutions 5 or more business days to fully process ACH transactions. For purchases, as soon as your funds clear through the ACH system, your purchased cryptocurrencies are processed by Elevatyr system. And for cryptocurrency sales, your funds are deposited into your funding source account as soon as they pass back through the ACH system and reach your bank account.

Cryptocurrency is a digital or virtual currency designed to work as a medium of exchange, but it does not have legal tender status. Cryptocurrencies are not currently backed or supported by any government or central bank, but can be tied to non-governmental organizations, for-profit or otherwise. Their value is largely derived from investor speculation of future development, and market forces of supply and demand, and they are more volatile than traditional currencies and other types of investments. Trading in cryptocurrencies comes with significant risks, including volatile market price swings or flash crashes, market manipulation, and cybersecurity risks. In addition, cryptocurrency markets and exchanges are not regulated with the same controls or customer protections available in equity, option, futures, or foreign exchange investing.
Cryptocurrency trading requires knowledge of blockchain technology, blockchain companies and cryptocurrency markets. Profiting through cryptocurrency trading requires competing with highly experienced traders worldwide. Cryptocurrency trading may not generally be appropriate, particularly with funds drawn from retirement savings, student loans, mortgages, emergency funds, or funds set aside for other purposes. Return of principle is not guaranteed and trading can lead to large and immediate financial losses. Under certain market conditions, you may find it difficult or impossible to liquidate a position quickly at a reasonable price, when, for example, the market for a particular cryptocurrency suddenly drops, or if trading is halted due to recent news events, unusual trading activity, or changes in the underlying cryptocurrency system. Several federal agencies have also published advisory documents surrounding the risks of virtual currency. For more information see, the CFPB’s Consumer Advisory, the CFTC’s Customer Advisory, the SEC’s Investor Alert, and FINRA’s Investor Alert.
